You are here to celebrate the release of Alienation, book two of the humorous Sci-Fi series, Starstruck.
Sally Webber’s dream is coming true: Zander is back and taking her out for a night on the town–on a planet hundreds of light years away from Earth.
But when an accident separates her from her alien tour guide, she’s thrown into the seedy underbelly of an insane city where nothing is as it seems. Suddenly lost and desperate to get back home, Sally is willing to do anything to get out, even if it means accepting spontaneous marriage proposals, crashing some fancy parties, or joining what appears to be the space mob.
All she wanted was some decent interstellar pizza, but now it might be the end of the world as evil nanobots and an out of control AI try to take the universe by force, and the only one who can stop them is missing in action. Sally has no choice but to try to stop them herself–if she can stay alive that long.
Alienation is the fantastic sequel to the hit sci-fi comedy, Starstruck by S.E.Anderson.

S.E.Anderson is studying to be an astronaut – we kid you not. But I managed to grab five minutes with the author and ask her a few questions.
- How long does it take you to write a book?
I started Starstruck 7 years ago. Writing a draft is short – it can take anything from a month to three – but making the book good can takes ages. You would laugh at my first draft – it’s never good!
- What is your work schedule like when you’re writing?
I try to write either one chapter or 1000 words a day. I write towards the end of the day, when I’m done with dinner and wearing comfy clothes. Some nights I’ll lose track of time and write late into the night.
- Where do you get your ideas for your books?
Dreams, sometimes! A lot of time I try to think about what situation would force my characters out of their comfort zone. How do I make them grow, as a person? Then I create a world that will shatter a character completely. The world literally revolves around them. Details and plot fill in the spaces.
- When did you write your first book and how old were you?
I wrote my first full length novel when I was 12. It was a rip-off of Eragon with my best friends as the main characters! We all had dragons and were brought into a magical realm to save the elves and dwarves from an evil queen. It was awesome, though I didn’t yet know how to use spell check!
Thanks for reading. Now hop on to your spacecraft and visit.
